Help answer this question below.

My new Acer 5738z dual core laptop with WinXP SP3 is taking a lot of time to display the My Computer / My Documents / Explorer folders after booting up. Hardware Device Manager shows Microsoft Tun Miniport Adaptor #2 not starting.

    Ahhhh acer,,,, I can't answer your question, but I have had nothing but problems with mine. I will never buy an acer again. I have never had a hard drive that I only had for 3 months get damaged sectors from just turning the power off by pressing the power button instead of the shutdown. If you can't fix-it they will be quick to inform you they do have a paid technical support program that can access your computer from their location and repair it...assuming you can still get online.
