Im a stay at home mom whose husband works out of town a lot. im alone with no family or friends. i txt old friends from high school and he is upset by this. when he is home he is txting his friends. what do i do? i am so lonely. i need SOMEONE to talk to

Your hubby sounds controlling. You should be able to have friends. Do not let him stop you. Maybe you could meet your friends while he's out of town?

he sounds so selfish and controlling. i know how u feel, when i first got married i was so lonely bc i moved far away from family and friends, and he worked alot. i think he needs to get over himself and let u make friends and txt as u please. tell him how much it means to u when u have someone to talk to. then maybe he will understand!

You tell him that there is no part of the marriage ceremony that allows him to curb your freedom of speech and that if he doesn't like it you'll divorce him and find a man who isn't a control freak. Alternatively, try talk radio. I put Dennis Prager on my MP3 player and when my wife has to be gone do the housework while listening to him. My Husband is away for work 5-6 days a week. He's been working for this Company for 5 months. Things are not the same anymore. There are times I feel rejected and that he's not paying a lot of attention to me like he used to. Sometimes I feel like we are strangers. I think he's much more content just sitting in front of the TV drinking his beer when he is home. I feel lonely too.
