I recently got photoshop, and for SOME reason whenever i attempt to add text, nothing appears! I've tried adding a new layer, or checking the text is on the correct layer but as far, it seems i'm doing everything right. Why can't i see any text?

check if your keyboard is connected. check if you are actually typing on the keyboard and not on the table. check if you are typing on the right keyboard. check if your text-color is not the same as the background. when adding text in photoshop first click and drag on the area where you want to type. try typing in another application (word, notepad) check for the latest windows/mac updates for your system. check your system specs, maybe your computer specs are too low since you got photoshop recently. check if you copy of photoshop is legal by registering the software online. download the latest updates for photoshop. check if your font is installed correctly.
