Back in the good Ol Days LMAO... When I started driving gas by the litre was either 45 or 65 cents CAD except on holidays where the price would sore to 75 to 89 cents which was "Outragious!"

In 1989, I paid 76 cents (USD) per gallon.

I remember when I started driving it was 88 cents a gallon. But I can remember back to 69 cents a gallon (before I started driving)

That would be back in 1977 when I first started driving. My parents owned a small mom and pop grocery store, bait house, garage, and gas station. There were price wars going on and the station across the street was trying to undercut. They dropped the price to 28 cents a gallon. So, I went across the street to fill up. Boy my dad was mad. LOL

Gas was .26 per gallon when I got my license, and I could only afford a couple gallons at a time!

I remember $0.29 CAD per imperial gallon, but that was at the end of the 1960s.

i think it was 10 cents a gallon. backin the mid to late sixties where ilive at they used to have gas wars to see who sold gas the cheapest

Back in the 80s and 90s it seemed to vary from .89 to .99 I was young then, so I didn't really buy the gasoline, but I remember those prices!

.88 a gallon about 10 years ago....*sigh*. Now it's typically 3.00 and I have a 21 gal tank :(

My grandfather paid 15 to 20 cents in the 60's.

The lowest I can remember paying is .35 per gallon.
