Women: Do you (or would you) allow your family to disrespect your partner? Why or why not?

No if I love someone enough to make them my partner I would stand up for them in front of anyone family included. Trying not to be confrontational

I would hate it if anyone commented on my partner.. not that they would, in front of me. But if they tried it wouldnt be a very pleasant experience for them...

Joking around is okay, but the trick is to know when the joking has gone to far, and then I stand up for them. There is no reason why you should let someone disrespect your partner(Your husband, fiance, boyfriend). If you let someone disrespect them, then that may show to that person that you don't care about your partner enough to stand up for them. OR Even that you may not respect your partner as well. Show that you care, and one of those ways is by standing behind them, and catching them when someone else is pushing, or to intercede, to prevent your partner from being pushed. Stand up, and show people that you have respect for your partner. If you don't, why are you with them.
