I participated in the search for my lost brother 16 years ago. He wondered off while we were having a yard sale. It was scary but we found him. Yay.

About 5 years ago a little 5 year old was missing. This small town nearly fell to pieces and I do not know of a single person that did not participate in the search. Four hours later the boy was found. He was under his mothers bed asleep. seems he was playing hide and go seek with his teddybear and after a while of waiting and the bear did not find him he had fallen asleep.

It was more of a recovery....A young man fell into the Embarrass River about 4 years ago during a flood. My son and I helped for 2 days searching for his body, luckily we were not the ones to find him. I don't really know how I would have reacted if we would have been the ones to have found him.

Yes a few, Angie Houseman, Cassidy Senter, Shawn Hornbeck and Ben Ownby(these two were found together, Shawn had been missing for a few years). -
I don't know if this counts, but the short version of the story is someone I know dropped who I was told was his nephew off at my apartment so I could babysit him. A few hours later on the news was an Amber Alert for 2 missing kids. It turns out that the little boy I had at my apartment was the boy missing. If you want to read about the story here is the link. The guy I used to be my landlord and my old boss. He relapsed on drugs when he got with this woman.
