  • How about having a party for your friend, at someone's home? +5
  • If she's outgoing and doesn't mind being silly in public, you could send her on a scavenger hunt to different businesses (whom you would set it up with beforehand) to make her do dumb stuff to get her next clue (ten jumping jacks, loudly recite the alphabet backwards, stand up on a chair and tell everyone it's her birthday, etc). The end of the hunt could be the party. And you could send someone with her to videotape and then all watch it at the party. ??
  • Volunteer in your community for the day. This will be more memorable than any party.
  • You can ask here what she would like to do, and go from there, or just surprise her. Having fun doesnt have to cost a lot. You can go hiking, swimming, bowling, to a movie, out to eat. The most important thing is to let her know its HER day, and pay lots of attention to her. She is the QUEEN for that day, so make her feel that way. Try to get her a meaningful little gift; something she can look at and remember the day by at a later time. She will appreciate all the time and effort you spent trying to make her day special, even if you dont have a lot of dough ! :)
