Man's capacity for cruelty to other living creatures. We found a puppy yesterday that someone had thrown out on the side of the road. It couldn't be more than a few weeks old. The poor thing was so frightened and confused. It has a home with us now, follows my daughter everywhere and it's little tail wags constantly. Gonna have her checked out by our vet tomorrow...then she's mine.
