Yes I think so. There's be way too much to do, to think about what future inventions we may be missing out on. I like the clothes from 1800s ~ well, the outer layer at least LoL. I'd rather have the life span we have now tho ~ compared to the shorter life expectancy of the 1800s. I really enjoyed one of the documentary programs on TV about a family who had to live as if they were in the 1800s. It was hard work! I'd be much fitter than I am now that's for sure!

I could if I had to, but I would not like it.
-
I'd have to steampunk it!
-
I could. +5

I could adapt but I think it would be long and cold before that happens.
-
As long as I had a never ending supply of books I'd be just fine.
-
No. I would even have a hard time re-adapting to 1955 (when I was happily toddling around).
-
Sure, there still would be fire, wheel and plough! And a global empire could be built on available stuff.
-
Hard to say because we are so accustomed to the technologies now available. How else would we be having this dialogue if not for the internet?
-
Sanitation and Medicine are the only things I'd miss...
-
It would take me about a month to adapt.

I've always said I wouldn't have been a good pioneer woman. I want inside bathroom, clean running water, electricity at all times. I could have dealt with horses and buggies, but not lack of the aforementioned conveniences.
-
Nope. Which is why I'm not Amish.
-
I use 19th century technology today just for fun. I think I would adapt quite well.
-
I think i could. But i probably would not have met my husband or my good friends i met online =(
-
I think i could. Times were simpler then & people were easier to deal with as well but can i take my hair dryer?? Lol. +6
