Well, you are certainly leaving yourself wide open for condemnation to hell from the religionists.

No, there's nothing 'open minded' or 'closed minded' about it. You believe in Yeshua for salvation. Political correctness has nothing to do with it.

Good question, but how do you define being "open-minded"? My caution concerning your question is that it seems that you may want to interpret Jesus to be however you ultimately want to view Him. In the same way that you have a distinct identity and anyone who knows you would offend you by describing you in ways that were foreign to who you are, you must also be careful not to describe/define Jesus in ways that He is not. In the same way that you want to be recognized for who and what you are, so does He. (I submit that you would be highly offended if I or someone else made up a description of you, up-to and including calling you by a name that is not yours. Imagine the audacity of me then going around telling other people that you are something that you are NOT.) I suggest being "open-minded" to learn who He actually was/is... and not be "open-minded" to re-create who He was/is according to what suits you. Submit yourself to learning of who He is. God will honor your genuine humility and reveal the real Christ Jesus to you through His word, the Holy Bible.

No Jesus says draw close to me and I will draw close to you.
