She's cautious, no point in rushing things. I'd be the same way. She doesn't know if she likes you yet. Give it time.

If she said it wasn't a date then it sounds like she isn't looking for a relationship. Not that being friends couldn't turn into that but she is saying up front that she isn't looking for a boyfriend. I don't understand what being "menopausal" has to do with the equation?
