You're reading Computer attached to my 50" LCD HDTV via HDMI. I want my DVDs copied to my hard drives so I can watch them whenever I want without the DVDs themselves. You know any possible free programs to help me with this? 3.8Ghz, 12GB RAM, 3TB HD, DVD-RW, Vista Home.

Copyrighted. I'm not copying them to redistribute them. I have several hundred DVDs & Blu-rays and it'd be easier if I could just double-click on a video file on my desktop to watch them rather than rummaging through all my movies to find the one I want. I have a few on my computer already from those that offer digital copies from their companies, like Dark Knight, but you have to download it from their website and even with Roadrunner, it still takes a long time. I'm not trying to do anything to make myself profit or do something I shouldn't, just purely for personal use only.

I was not implying that you were doing anything wrong/transferring copyrighted DVDs requires different software and it's a royal pain in the @$$!!
