Why doesn't Macromedia work with Firefox?

Macromedia has been bought over by Adobe so you'll need to go to adobe.com and get the shockwav plugin from there

Update your Adobe (no longer Macromedia) Flash Viewer. If that fails, update your Firefox browser too. They are compatible.
