I'm not sure. I have had questions that I thought were valid and had like 15 answers, get flagged, so I'm not sure. Maybe it has to be flagged by a person in order to be removed? In that case, why were they flagged? I'm just as confused now as I was before over this whole issue.

First - Don't take it personally. Remember - it's the question - not the person - that gets the pink slip. Very important. Next - remember, the mods deal with dozens of people, hundreds of questions, and a few crackpots every day. They're humans. They make mistakes. Picture this hypothetical scenario: Someone flags a whole bunch of questions. When those questions get flagged, only two mods are on duty, two are at lunch, one's on break, and someone else called in sick because it's Friday and he wants to be sick at the beach. It could happen. Anyway, the phone rings. Meanwhile, more flags come rolling in. The one mod who's actually working says, "Screw this" and approves all the flags en masse, figuring most are legit. I made that up, but do you see where I'm going with this? Moderating is anything but an exact science. Stay calm and send feedback. If it's a valid question, it'll go back up. Cut the mods a little slack and say "Thanks" once in a while. They have a tough job.

No offence. :-) I do think the moderators are a little inconsistent, however I don't think that the hot chocolate question was nonsense since it was posted in the Crazy Thoughts category. Which were the other questions you marked as nonsense? :-)
