  • I have had my Christmas Cactus plants for several years and they have just recently started blooming well for me. I did transplant my first one after first getting it. My husband found it in a dumster in 2003. It was quite large when he found it and it now appears to be two plants put in together. (I am getting two different colored blooms.) I put it in a 14" diameter pot. It seemed to be in shock for a while. (I read somewhere not to move it around too much.) Mine are in bloom at this time and there are about 25-30 blooms on it that are about 2 1/2 - 3 inches long. I'm so happy! Finally my green thumb is starting to show. Good luck.
