Ok im in a little trouble. I chose shop as my elective and i dont know a thing about cars/trucks. Does anyone have any good websites that show diagrams and animations that show how things work inside the car?

none that I can find UhMMMM won't the class teach you how this works I think this is the whole idea of taking a class

Shop class, when I took it, was about woodworking. Either way, I doubt you'll be required to build a car/truck. Have fun with it. They'll teach you everything you need to know. That's why it's a class and not a job.

http://auto.howstuffworks.com/engine.htm This is a great place to start. But your shop teacher knows that many of you won't have a clue at the start, and should teach you. Congratulations on picking a great elective. Even if you don't go into it for a career, it will be useful to you for the rest of your life. Even if all it does is teach you enough to know what is wrong with your car when you take it to a mechanic, it will be useful.
