Yeah it makes you think that no matter how happy you are now in your relationship, it can start to go downhill at any time and eventualy fall apart. You just have to be able to maintain that loving feeling and both ppl have to be willing to keep putting effort into the relationship so it can grow together as opposed to grow apart.

That's a very relevant question for you to have. The answer is that your parents were probably very much in love at one time. Don't let it scare you. Do let it help you know the difference in being in love and love.

I have almost no knowledge of why my parents divorced or the circumstances surrounding the divorce and I've made no judgments of either based on the divorce. I wouldn't really wonder about how they were feeling. I only have my own relationship to go on and would consider the relationship completely separate.
