Does anyone else find it incredulous that those early Biblical virile men (Adam-930, Noah-950, Abraham-175) produced so few children in their long-lives, without any notion of birth-control & with seemingly unlimited supply of [anon.] fertile women?

Are you sure all their children were listed. Those who died young, girls, and the offspring of concubines were often ignored in patriarchal societies.

Not all were listed - Genesis 5:4 "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters."

Your question doesn't make much sense. Virility is not tied to longevity. Genesis is called the First Book of Moses, because Moses wrote it. Moses (an Israelite and Hebrew) would have placed more emphasis on the ancestors of his people than on side branches. The others are merely mentioned as "other sons and daughters".

No. I couldn't find it doubting (incredulous), but I might find it doubtful (incredible). But no one ever said those stories were complete. If they wrote every minute of every day of every life of every character in every story, it would be 70 million pages.
