Yes they can. I am not sure of the percentages in every state, but I have heard they can garnish for 35 to 65 percent out of you weekly paychecks.

Yes, they can. Why shouldn't they if you didn't pay your debt? You are lucky you have job right now.

yes they can but what you can do is either go and talk to them about a payment plan .telling them what your going threw and can they just take twenty dollars out each and every month until its paid off it may take you a while before its paid off but less you wont be broke ive be there before and it worked out just fine give it a try .

What do you mean by "flubbed"? If you couldn't make the payments, you must have let it go quite a while, because garnishment takes a court order. First, stop depositing your money into the bank, where they can get to it. Second, call them and fall on them for mercy for a reasonable payment plan. Failing that, there's bankruptcy. Next time, heed their warnings and head trouble like this off at the pass.
