Some people think it is OK to marry a much older man but not a much older woman? Do you agree?

Thats probably because a much older man is not much use sexually active after a while so you can go out on the town with your friends all the time etc....but much older women just keep on going and going and going on...

Age is irrelevant. For thirty years I had a good marriage with a woman thirteen years younger then myself. I also know a guy who has been married (don't know how many years, but it is long term) to a woman ten years older than he is.

Much older does not appeal to me, but I believe in to each his own more so.

Depends what you mean by 'much older' i cannot see how somebody in their 20's can share interests with somebody in their 60's other than financial gain. I'm against it.

It's all subjective. And to many people it doesn't matter at all. Personally I'd marry a woman 3 or 4 years older, than myself. But as a person gets older the age difference seems to matter a lot less. For example a 20yr old dating a 30yr old, vs a 50yr old dating a 60yr old.

Yes. Men have always taken longer to "grow up" than women, so the idea of older man, younger woman makes a little bit of sense. As to the reverse. It is hard to understand why an older woman would want to marry a kid who has not grown up yet. Who wants to watch a partner learn all the lessons you already know.But I think it happens because women get a vicarious "return" to their youth with a younger guy, and that probably makes maturity issues easier to deal with.

some times older women will give their estate to a younger man who cares for them until they die.
