Hey, I'm actually thinking about joining the army, and from what I've heard, criminals don't get a choice to be in the army, but I've also heard they still do that. (Offer the criminal a place in the army or jail) Can anyone clarify for me?

    What with Bu$h's "Unnecessary War", both the Army and Marines, have been getting a bit.....'shall we say' desperate? for recruits.

    The "Army or Jail" option ended with the Vietnam war.
