I like trains, and enjoy traveling by them. There is also much good scenery to be seen from them. The downside is today's trains take too long to get from point A to point B.

Not usually in the U.S.. I enjoy it in Europe, where service is predictable.

If it's like 15-20 hours long, fine. But if more, I suffer from wanting to have a shower.

Yes, pretty much I enjoyed some trains in European countries A couple of good trains in Indonesia were also nice, but obviously not the ones with cheap tickets, crowded, and no seat at all, too many crimes. YIKES!

Yes, even though I've only travelled in the UK. Some journeys and routes are more enjoyable than others, can depend on the type of train, how busy the train is, whether the train is on time and the type of scenery from out the train window.

Yes, I prefer it over flying. I prefer to drive but I've enjoyed a few train trips as an adult. As a child, we rode the train often.
