I am mature and have a multi-faceted work experience and have proven myself in many previous jobs. But I am not having any luck with my interviews or getting hired. I guess I need some type of help from a professional career counselor. Whre do I look?

Register with a "temporary" agency. They will interview you and assess your skills and you can ask them the questions you need to prepare yourself for reentry into the work force in a familiar or a new field. Working as a "temp" is also a great way for a potential employer to become familiar with you and with your skills. Many older workers have better work ethics and qualities such as dependability, low absenteeism, low tardiness rates, and so forth than younger inexperienced workers. Use any opportunities that may arise to put your best foot forward and it may result in full-time employment in a company you enjoy. +5
