  • This guy? I assume you mean Obama.. Right now he's trying to get coverage period for us. I would LOVE to see a public option, but if congress won't vote for it it doesn't get done regardless of what the president wants. Go chew on your congressman/womans ass to get them on the stick!
  • As much as I hate it, I have to agree with Legend. The best bill on Earth is useless if you can't get it onto your desk to sign. Better we get a co-operative so at least small businesses like mine don't have to pay the rates charged for groups of 2-10 people. Let's get what we can done first. Then let's vote out the scoundrels in the Senate and House who have taken hundreds of thousands and even millions from Healthcare Insurers. With them out of the way, we can actually add a public option. Insurance costs aren't coming down till we do that, because a tiny handful of massive corporations now control virtually all health insurance and they are for all practical purposes exempt from any oversight or antitrust laws. You see, they have been contributing to key members of Congress for a very long time.
