Hi Firebrand, thanks for answering. I purchased a Toshiba Notebook which weigs only about 3 pounds. I quadrupled the memory and use a wireless card for internet access so I can take it anywhere. My next computer will also be very lightweight and portable. +6

My Toshiba Satelite Laptop weighs more than my PC, it is a great machine but breaks my back. I may have a look at the natebook because I do like Toshiba. Thank you for the info :)

Great Ice man. Nothing like having a customized system put together to accommodate all your needs! Have you found you've had to upgrade, add memory or software ... ? Any plans for a replacement or is it still working well for you?

This may post twice - something went wrong with the first submission.
The only thing I've had to do was to update drivers, otherwise it still works great. I had it loaded up pretty good with memory when I had it built. I have to be careful when buying new games because the old girl is not compatible with a lot of the graphics requirements of some of the newer games. So yes, I'm starting to think about what's next. I won't spend a cent until I know how Windows 7 is going to workout. I loved XP and want nothing to do with Vista, I'm hoping to skip right over it and get into a better operating system.

You and I agree on that one! I am still using XP, and want to skip over Vista. I've got several friends using 7 and there are bugs. Hopefully by the time you and I are ready for a new computer, 7 will be running smoothly! :-)
