I don't think it matters but I always keep mine facing outwards so i can see what its doing without having to take it out. +3

You want the fragile part against you not facing out, if you run into something the full force won't hit the glass so it's less likely to break

Face it so that when it rings, you can lift it just a little bit out to see the screen, see who's calling. If you face it the other way, you have to take it all the way out to see who's calling.

That sounds like my case (is it a Razor phone?). I don't think it really matters. Depends where you carry the case, do you clip it to your belt (or top of your pants), in your pocket, or a backpack. The only difference, most speakers or on back of phone, so placing it with screen toward back of case, speaker toward outside of case would simply make it easier to hear when it rings. Think the main thing, which way is more comfortable for you.

My BlackBerry is supposed to face in. I'd imagine your phone is the same.

Doesn't really matter, but typically you put the screen toward the inside to provide a little extra protection in case it takes a hit.

You want the screen to face inward, especially if you go it in your pocket and it gets bumped.
