You can get almost anything in the dollar store. But how many things are worth buying? Not much if you don't want them to fall apart in a week. But if you're looking for paper plates or something, there's no better place!

Candles, ornaments, kitchenware, toys, makeup/cosmetics, doilies, tools (such as spanners, nuts and bolts, maybe even a hammer), sticky tapes, greeting cards, purses, bags, stationery. I'm sure there's more ~ I really should visit on more often than annually!

On one of the morning shows this last week they had a segment about the Dollar Store and Target. They purchaced the same 10 items from each. The differences were very small and in the end Target actually save 14 cents on the items purchased. Quality was also a big factor. Aluminum foil was less expensive at the Dollar Store however it was thinner and tore easier when used. Know your product before you purchace
