My experience says "yes." Handling stress well is one of the things that makes a person succeed in those jobs. The jobs are lucrative (i.e., they pay better) BECAUSE the employer knows he has to pay people decently to make dealing with the stress worth it.

Lucrative jobs require a lot of responsibility, and unless it's a job one loves, the responsibility and obligation quickly becomes stressful.
