  • Those are very broad and tough topics. But, great strides have been made. It may be quite some time before these questions are answered completely and with finality, you just need a longer time horizon. Relative to the scale of the problems, science has not been working on them for very long.
  • Science explains it quite well. What it cannot explain is the why - if one accepts the premise there is a why, of course. Science and real religion are not in opposition, they are focused on different questions.
  • Hmm ... what will be your question on the day those two things ARE done? After all, it *might* be possible to create artificial life ... and if we can create "artificial" life, who knows but it might become "real". And it makes new inroads on a near daily basis as to "how". It would help for you to remember that until the past two hundred years or so there were real restrictions on the safe study of some of these things. That is, the idea that such things could even be studied and that they might be known to Man could get the person who said that stretched on a rack. In any case, Bibles and Holy Books of all kinds only speak in metaphor and poetry; to the extent that people "believe" in the word for word interpretation of the literal truth of each word ... those people are blinded by religion.
