What pattern are you trying to make? If you just need to sew them together, one by one, here's how I would do it. Look at each diamond. There are sides l, 2, 3, 4. You will sew long strips of side l to side 3, side l to side 3, side l to side three. How long to make each strip depends on the size of your quilt. Mark out your quilt on a sheet or newspapers, and lay each strip on it as you make them. (I used some yarn as a mark, and pinned it to a sheet in the shape and size of the quilt I wanted) When you are done, sew the strips together, and cut the edges off to form straight lines. Some people just leave the edges pointed, and sew to a binding or edging. Edit: to keep them from puckering, see this video. she sews a scrap piece through the machine first to draw the threads up. When I do it, I simply don't cut between the diamonds, I sew two and two and two and two, then cut the threads between each and sew the twos together. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNH0xGUnEd0&NR=1
