No. I know it is more sophisticated to enjoy al dente anything but I always feel it hasn't been cooked enough and want to throw it back in the boiling water for a few minutes.

Nah, I'm not a fan of chewy pasta. I like it cooked through but not mushy. A chef friend of mine once told me that the best way to know if spaghetti is cooked properly is to throw a piece against the wall and if it sticks, it's good to eat :)
