Why does not the Internet explore 'back button' give you the option os going back several pages? It requires several clicks to get back where you want to go, and it is aggrivating as all h***!

Because you are using Ancient Explorer. Times have changed.

Get a better browser. Firefox has a drop-down menu that allows you to go back about 20 pages. I am surprised IE does not do this - are you up to the latest version (8)?

Because Macroshaft doesn't know how to write a decent browser. I usually use Firefox, though I've been dabbling with Chrome lately (glad I gave it a third chance). Both of them allow you to right-click the "Back" button to get a pop-down life of the last 20-or-so pages you've been on in that tab.

Firefox is my primary browser, but I use IE for some things. IE can drive me bonkers, and if I had the opprotunity to tell Microsoft that, I would.
