What do you think of Miley Cyrus' "Pole Dancing" at the Teen Choice Awards (2009)? Is it really "too much"? Is the pole just something to keep her from falling off the cart?

i ask for a pole to dance a few fridays ago and got rated as offensive but a teen can do this....where is the justice ?? +5

Don`t think that is something teens should get into!There is plenty of time for that later.Kids should be kids not rush into sexy stuff so soon.They DO NOT need encouragement from stars or the people who put on those shows for "Pole Dancing"!For goodness sake!

In the entertainment world, they don't see things the same way we do. Dancers move their bodies as part of a finely tuned act. Unfortunately, young teen fans don't see the distinction, and it can lead to a lot of problems. Parents have to work extra hard to help their daughters see the fine line between a stage act and their own daily lives.

Are you serious? Is THAT what everyone on Youtube and Muchmusic are so in an uproar about? How is that pole dancing? It isn't anymore suggestive or "too much" than anything else she does in this performance, including how she's dressed or some of the movements she's making. And if it IS more suggestive, I mean it is a POLE and all, really did anyone expect otherwise, anyways? There has been SO much worse, and all that kinda stuff is always like that. Britney Spears spreading her legs and five guys sliding right underneath one after another for example. Beh. I don't think it's too much, not when compared to how suggestive some of these live performances often get. :/ I mean seriously, why did Beyonce assume that I wanted to see her panties? Now if I had to draw a line, it would be things like that.

I was pretty disappointed I had to hear about it. I walked into a gas station and Bill O'Reily went off about it. It'll be months before they stop talking about it. :(

I think this is silly she's not pole dancing people just hate it because she ment to be little miss Hannah Montana but come on she almost 17 years old she IS going to grow up. and its not pole dancing!
