But a more indepth translation of the word that fool originates from suggests that they are insane. No. If you assume the existence of God as being the creator of all things, and the existence of atheists as being the non-beleiver of gods or a god. Then there seems to be little scope on the part of God to need to belief in anything - God will know that atheists exist as the God would have created them.

Probably not. God has been isolated from reality by his angels and living in his own heaven. He doesn't even know that there are pedophile priests. Let alone atheists.

Assuming the existence of an omnipotent, omniscient Being who created everything, I would have to say that belief has nothing to do with it. This being would KNOW everything. Belief would never come into play.
