Help answer this question below.

My girlfriend and I recently had safe sex; she was on the pill for 3 months and I had a condom. Her period is 2-3 days late right now. She has been under a lot of stress from school and she has been depressed. Could this be the cause of the late period?

    TIGAKAT

    yeah being streed/depressed and anxious can delay your period....to be on the safe side get a pregnancy kit or see your doctor...u know when you miss the pill for one day...u must within 12 hours from taking the last pill take another...if you dont the pill comes inaffected...there fore you have to wait two weeks(and continue the pill) before it becomes affective again!! (thought u should know )

    Being under stress can play a major role on a late period. If she doesn't get it in another week or so maybe she should go to the doctor to find out if there maybe something else wrong!
