Black is a color. It means absent of light. I've traveled to many countries, have many friends of the world in all continents, but have never - ever seen a person which is the same color as black. Did you know that most of the people in the entire world are brown-skinned (from sallow/olive tone/coffee to dark brown). Did you know that the original Arabs/Moors/Bedouins came out of Africa, but the present day Arabs don't consider themselves Africans. Did you know that Egypt is in the continent of Africa, but they don't consider themselves as Africans. Black is not a race. It's not an ethnic. It's a color. I am me. My name is...WASAWOO! my name is important, not the color of my skin.

A race. There are only a few ethnicities that are considered "races" and black people are one of them. For the record, I disagree with the classification of "race." Here I explain why: What is 'race', really? http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/8200890
