  • I live a few hours away, but still in Victoria. I visit often. The shopping is good as. Plus, there's a little Japanese restaurant in the city which I love!
  • Best shopping, fashion, food, arts and music scene, strong night life (strong bouncers though). Brunswick, Fitroy and Inner City 'shop top' dwellers are like the bohemians of 1900 Paris, liberal and spirited. South Melbourne, Carlton, North Melbourne, Footscray are full of different culture and great food. South Yarra, Toorak, Prahran, Richmond are the boutique shopping mecca's. St.Kilda, Elwood and Williamstown are the city beaches. Melbourne itself can never be completely explored, it has it's own style. European Architecture mixed with Melbourne alley way shopping. The only way is to explore, and in the light of day you can go anywhere, walk down a few alleyways and you'll still find the best store you've ever been to. Get a coffee at DeGraves Coffee. That's just inner Melbourne. Victoria has it all, Snow at Mt Hotham, Surf Beaches at Torqouy and Bells Beach, Hiking at the Grampians, Retreats at Daylesford, Cities such as Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong have it all. I like Melbourne.
