Shouldn't we all be telling the government officials what we want to happen,then charging them to do the job we hired them to do,or get out?They work for us,and if they can't get the job done,then they should be fired,and someone else put into office.

The problem is that people have different ideas about what should be done. However, if they actually make promises during their campaign (real promises and not just things they "intend" to do) then they should be held to them.
