Has anyone herd of wrong timing marks on a 2.5lt.

    Make sure the crankshaft key is straight up and the arrows on the cam gear are even with head. There should be a hole on the top when you do this. Or pull a spark plug and make sure # 1 piston us up by placing a screwdriver in the hole. Then check the distributor to make sure the rotor is even with the # 1 sparkplug wire. You can also go to autozone.com to check the repair guide for free.
