a couple of my friends won't use white lighters for that reason. they can't tell me why though, just 'its bad luck', I don't care though, as long as it works lol

when you wish to carry a white lighter just let me know and i'll throw a penny in your way. we can fight bad-luck signs with good-luck signs. how about that? lol

Like cigarette lighters?? The white ones are the best. You can hold them up to a light source and see how much fluid is remaining. It's pretty handy. I'd say the darker coloured ones would be bad luck, as they'd get lost in the bottom of your bag somewhere, as darker colours would be harder to see.

No, I have one of them and I don't see it as bad luck... it's really how you think about it and that's what's making it bad luck for you.
