People in love usually want to be with someone all the time...you only have to listen to all the love songs on the radio...but everyperson, including yourself, needs a little down time.

Sometimes it's one and sometimes it's the other. If you're asking the question for yourself the answer's in your own heart. If you're asking the question about a partner the answer can only be found by analysing your relationship. Maybe you you just need to relax and enjoy each other's company and not over-analyse.

Maybe the accent here is on the word 'need'. No doubt we think we just love the other person to death and we can't get enough of them, when actually the need is ours, wanting to be appreciated and loved. Controlling people have plenty of other ways to exercise their power - like isolating their 'love' by arranging their lives so that the control freak knows where they are and what they're doing without actually having to be there.
