Absolutely! Especially if I didn't have a first name. I think they intentionally made red the color of the senior command tunics in TNG in irony.

I'd make sure my will was updated as soon as I heard that I was wearing a red shirt and serving on the "Enterprise". I'd also invest in large quantities of life insurance, so my family will be well-off after Kirk puts me in some stupid situation.
