  • I wouldn't try to teach them but let them figure it out for themselves. As social attitudes change through each generation I think it would be fruitless to try and impose one persons norms onto another, particularly if they are younger. They will soon learn for themselves what is appropriate in any given social situation.

  • What, specifically, do you mean by "socially appropriate questioning"? Politically Correct? Deference given by the interrogtor to the interrogated based upon some level social stratification or matter of etiquette?
