  • In most states you can move out at age 16. The problem is in finding a place to live. If you want to rent a place, I think you have to be 18 to legally enter into a rental contract. If I were you, I would really try to explore solutions for staying at home. You really are better off making sacrifices and staying at home for a few more years while you keep working and SAVING money.
  • It depend on what county you live in. I know that in Jefferson county, your parents can call the sherriff and have you reported as a runaway. That is an issue that get messy.
