So My mom for around a year or so has been talking with her boyfriend a lot, and she's been changing. I feel disconnected from her , shes always on the phone with him and im tired of this. The problem is that he (moms boyfriend) lives in New York and we live in Los Angeles. My mom one day doesn't even ask me, she just starts telling me "Were moving to New York" and I got upset because I don't wanna move across the state so that she could live with her boyfriend. Ive never spoken to the guy and i dont plan on building any type of relationship with him because it just doesn't interest me. I really don't want to leave LA, i got to high school here, Im in STEM magnet (Honors Program) Im in my school basketball team, IM a sophmore going into 11th grade next year. I know if i leave i wont be able to play basketball anymore because schools dont pick up juniors, Ima leave all my friends. Ive told this to my mom but shes so hardheaded and doesnt give a damn, she just talks about how she doesnt want to live single and wants to be with her boyfriend. i told her to tell him to just come to california , but shes says that he wont find a job here and I just cant belive how selfish she is she doesnt consider anything i tell her.
