I got a gmail account, but I don't use it because everybody knows my yahoo address. But several people I know and trust swear by it and say it's way better than yahoo.

I have one. It is similar to any other email provider out there. Still I prefer my work accounts on MS Exchange. Outlook seems just so much more convinient and powerful. Pity gmail doesn't play nice with Outlook or any other client for that matter.

Not a lot of people have my gmail address and I have 2 other email accounts, so I didn't think using gmail would be of great benefit. But then I discovered that you can add your other email accounts into gmail and use it to access all your email in the same place. Considering some of gmail's excellent features, this made sense to me and I've only been using gmail since.

I switched to gmail after my screen kept freezing up with Yahoo. I like it, but I don't use all the bells and whistles.
