My Grand Daughter has been going through a custody battle with the grandmother on the father's side, he is in jail. Today she won temp custody, why would they give the children to her and not keep them with there mother? The chidren are 1 and 2

    Well you haven't told us anything about your granddaughter (the mother). The court doesn't remove children without cause.
