  • If she mated with a much bigger dog she may have a difficult time with the delivery. A vet will help you to decide what is the best course of action to take in this case. He may want you to let her deliver in his office or something like that.
  • G'day Anonymous, Thank you for your question. I would go to the vet at the appropriate time and have an ultrasound done. That will indicate whether there will be any problems. X-rays are the most reliable way as they indicate the number of puppies. Dog pregnancies last 60 days give or take a day so you don't have much time. I have attached sources for your reference. • YES, YES, AND YES! I would encourage you to contact your Vet ASAP, depending upon when this took place. It may be best for your little bitch to have these puppies taken from her before they develop too far...if the timing is right. If the Dog was greatly larger than your Bitch...it could kill her...it can happen. Your Vet will be the BEST JUDGE of what would be best for your girl in this case. Please when it's all over...GET THIS BITCH SPAYED...it will prevent such an accident from happening again AND you will go a long way towards preventing her from getting Breast Cancer, or Cancer of the Uterus, Ovaries, or other reproductive organs!
  • I personally think you should talk to a vet and think about getting your dog spayed. :)
  • get her to a vet beacuse a small dog cant have abig dogs pups it could kill her.
  • Well it depends on the size of the dogs for example if you have a yorkie vs a boxer then she will not be able to have them and the vet will need to take the puppies because the puppies maybe to large for the dog to give birth to, i would recommend getting her to the vet and explain to him the situtation and he can make a decision on what needs to be done and if a c section needs to be done he will schedule a date and if she goes in labor or you see signs take her right away and remember dogs release more than one egg so even if the other small dog "got tangled up" with her doesn't mean she is safe the big dog may have gotten her pregnant too!! there is a Misalliance shot you can have her take but it should have been given within 48 hours of the mating, just remember in the future if you dont want her to get pregnant that season ( every 6 months) then keep her up for about 3weeks. Or after she is done nursing this time have her fixed.
  • the pups will onli grow 2 the size of her belly, but i wud still get her 2 a ver asp
