  • Probably because they aren't toughened up by their day-to-day lives like we were as children. They tend to do less physical things nowadays and spend more time on computers etc. so when they do PE their bodies aren't used to the exertion.
  • cause thats when they get more play and work out, the more they move and get tired the more they will get hert. bodys can only go on the run for so long before they start to shut down. sometimes water helps but other times kids start to fall,trip or other things that comes with getn tired.

  • The kids are not following the directions and playing safe! Or educational budget cuts are effecting the physical education programs so the general education teachers are having to teach P.E. as well as every other school subject. (In other words, not the properly qualified person is teaching P.E.).

  • I'd say kids are not out playing as much as they used to and instead sitting indoors texting and playing video games. Lack of muscle conditioning and physical coordination is an invitation to an injury.

  • Many probably don't get much physical activity elsewhere and aren't up to the challenge in P.E. or Gym. My friends and I got much more physical activity outside of pe or gym. Of course we didn't have computers or video games, there was very little programming on TV, and had to walk or ride our bicycles most places we wanted to go (like the park, swimming pool, fishing hole, etc. as there were no malls to 'hang out' at.
