If you inform your employer that you will be voluntarily terminating your employment in two weeks, and your employer chooses not to schedule you for 5 days, then there is nothing improper about paying you after the five days. Most states have laws that you must be paid on the day of termination, or within three days after (depending on the circumstances). None of those laws apply here because you have yet to be terminated.
